I realise you've all finished it... but can anyone explain 19a; and where the Turbot fits in to Rubidium ? and I've got EXPERT for 28a, but don't get the 'poise adopted' for 'pe' bit ?

'Rb' - is rubidium in the periodic table - heart of turbot is letters in the middle.

PS Had to go online to get the clue - if you put the whole clue down perhaps some other non-ST reader can shed some light!

Thanks Harrhy (Is this a typing error ?)

Do you get the impression that the setter, (Jeff Pearce) is a chemist ? I'd certainly never come across Poise in that sense !
