sucker punch = an unexpected debilitating blow.
novice = sucker(easy to fool)

I have put "Rabbit Punch" for 2 down as this agrees with "mignon" at 11 across

Thank you Trevor - but if I put 'sucker' then everything else is wrong! Others have 'rabbit' but I am want to know how that comes from 'novice'?
