Sorry, it was 34 dn - (I am barking mad not barking dog!) Complete clue is Commitment -condition needed for second daughter to get the ultimate promotion!

I see the ultimate promotion bit but not the first half

commitment = "dedication"
second daughter = second "d"
condition = "if"
"condition needed for second daughter"
= replace second d with "if" = deification!
