Have been thinking about these as I know the area well. Is it just water features, though? You say rivers, lakes, tarns etc. Because if it is then I'm not sure about White Pike, which is a mountain. Sorry to throw a spanner in the works. I'll keep thinking.

I'd thought of that but the Tarn near Borrowdale is definitely Sprinkling Tarn so I rejected it along with Easedale Tarn and one or two others.

Hi harpist and andy c - I must be absolutely truthful as i was attempting to get the answers on a friend's behalf who is not registered with this site.
