Not sure if this is relevant, but two months with a (7,6) word pattern have always had 31 days since early Roman times (although at some point Julius Caesar did revise other, lesser months to also have 31 days):

Martius mensis Latin for "month of Mars"
october mensis Latin for "eighth month".
