Hi guys and gals, enjoying this month's genius but really stuck with 2 of the clues:

2,27: "Around old vehicle stick first of labels" (-O---, C-A---)

25,20: "Underground worker keeps circulating awhile in church" (----A-L, --E--)

Any help with either much appreciated!!!

2,27
STICK (syn) around (O)ld VEHICLE (syn), first of (L)ables.

25,20:
Anagram AWHILE, inside Church (CE) of England, inside an underground worker.

Remember, the names are altered to include a food item (which may not be to your taste).

2nd one, she was famous in the fashion industry.

Good, usually just takes nudge, a different perspective. It works for me.

Sorry for reversing them in my last reply.
Still wondering which guy it's supposed to be. None of them seem to be really mainstream:

Interesting, peterm.

Nay: no food item in the answer.

Aye: he's a food critic.

Would they stretch it that far?
I still say nay, but who knows. We'll see next month.

Duh! I see your point now.

The modified name still works, just refers to a different person.

Odd, it's the only answer where the surname is changed.
