Hi, Absolutely stuck on three clues. Can anyone assist please?
1. Ran off ten hesitantly then nothing with ten by editor. (7)
2. Going forwards and backwards in novel about middle class people. (3&4)
3 Canine straying on racecourse when there\'s race to follow. (5&3) Could it be Derby Dog?
Thanks.

Colin

If you are stuck on these three, does that mean you have completed all other answers? If so, presumably, you should have some letters already in?

2. Is aga-saga (its a palindrome).

I must agree with JimB, some letters would help if you have them.

Dear Trevor, Mamya & JimB,

Firstly, thanks for your sppedy replies, sorry I didn't include the letters I already had - a bit new to all this.
The 'ran off ten clue' I had ?e?o?e? so xeroxed seems to fit the bill. Brilliant.

Aga Saga fits the letters I have ?g? / s??? I get the saga (Novel) part but where does aga come into middle class? I thought that Aga was a Muslim leader or a cooker????

The dog/racecorse clue ???B? / D?G

I am very grateful to you three. Thank you.

Aga Sagas are novels about middle class housewives etc and the implication that the better off have an Aga range cooker at home
