"Was mean with the colour the man held back" = stinted. I can see Tint (colour) and Ed (man) but that's not the whole clue.

"Models have time inside (7)" = P-S-E-S.

The 3rd letter (S) of the above clue comes from "Infinite but not much of a target" for which I've put 'endless'. Is that right? If so, can you explain the 'not much of a target' bit?

Many thanks.

Back again! After giving the other clue some thought, one of the synonyms for 'target' is 'end' So, if you say 'end-less' is it less of a target. I hope that makes sense!

Thanks both. I'm happy with everything bar the 'models' clue. I had thought of 'posters' myself but, if that's the answer, the clue seems to be missing it's base, if you know what I mean.

I think it is "Models have" posters - on your wall, billboards etc.

bit poor?

Indeed. But that's often the case with this particular setter.
