the snob point one there was a sweet years ago called toffee something but the last part of the sweet i cant remember, im thinking snob as in toffee nosed

Thinking about it, there's no doubt that trevor's answer is correct, but a SNICKERS bar is not old-fashioned, and it isn't a sweet either.

Snickers bars have been around since 1930. They contain caramel and milk chocolate. I think they qualify.
