Jaybee, not too sure about your 22ac, presume you have 'coronet', along the right lines but think partial anagram - could be talking complete rubbish mind you!

So is 22a crowned and 17d leaden ?

Still 3 to get :

21a Grab club (5) c-e-k (cleek? but I don't know why)

14a Don't show sod (4) --i-

also as already mentioned above 12d Forthwith forgoten (8)---s-o-s assuming "crowned" correct for 22a

TEA crossword solver gives these definitions

Cleek, n.
1. A large hook or crook, as for a pot over a fire; specif., an iron-headed golf club with a straight, narrow face and a long shaft.
2. Act of cleeking; a clutch. [Scot.]

1. To seize; clutch; snatch; catch; pluck.
2. To catch or draw out with a cleek, as a fish; to hook.
3. To hook or link (together); hence, to marry. Scott.

was thinking of control and unconditional for 4ac and 6dn but the two wont go together. also struggling with 11ac, where berkeley is (4) could be -n-- if 6dn correct and 14ac, don't show sod (4) f-i-, if 6dn correct. finally 7d, abel seaman (6) --s---
