15d: Early Australian with derivation in Lincoln? (9)
A???I????
Could this be aborigine? whats the lincoln reference if so?

can anyone also explain why 'matador' is the answer to 'sanctimonious bounder or ringfighter'? I get the ringfighter part, but not the rest.
