I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Barrycat I think I've got 2 !

These are either too easy or I've suddenly got smarter - I solved four in less than a minute!

And I've just got the last one, number four.

There's something wrong with my brain...I've got 5 now. :~/

My solutions to the 5 clues-

1) ERASERS - Removers..Anag(moving)REASSURES less (out)US

2) SLIDE RULES - Mechanical aids to calculating...SLIDES (chutes)RULES (standards)
Possibly either slides or rules should be singular.

3) TENOR - General ..Sounds like! Tenner (Decadal - Ten)

4) HOLES IN ONE - Rarely acquired by drivers
( Golf) ...HOLES ( wounds)IN ONE (personal)

5) DON'T GIVE ME THAT! - &lit - nonsense & I reject your offering
