Some anagrams, though short, are very difficult to work out. This is usually because the letter order cotravenes the normal usage patterns of English. Two examples-no catches-are MONDAY, and DYNAMO. Has anyone got any more, tricky short anagrams? (Answers to my 2 q.'S on request, tho' I'm sure some brain box will get them instantly!)

Correct,AQ. The key to both DYNAMO and SCYTHE is that the Y is in the middle. Any more hard examples,or shall we call that it?

Not short I know, but the placename that is an anagram of CHARLESTON always seems to take people ages to work out whenever I set it as a pub quiz question.
