Jim C,

Just thought of the Hoover Dam so made the connection to Hold Over, yet, not 100% sure of this answer to be honest.Hope the right answer soon comes. Regards, Simon

100% about the H and the M but losing confidence in the two n's because cant think of anything to fit!

Can't get this one.The nearest I can manage is HAND MILL which is used to make grounds for coffee etc. Anag of DAMN but can't see H I L L bit.

Re HAND MILL Could the HILL part be H-horse and ILL-badly. If this is correct then it is a poor clue.
