Been struggling with these last two.....

9 down : "Frank is seen after second part of course" (4,8)
I have B-C- S-R---H- Is it :Back Straight"? If so, why? (Back Nine would be the usual golfing term...)

26 Across : "Hindu deity wearing women's clothes? Not entirely" (5) --D -A Stuck with this; ? some reference to Buddha???

Help, please!

9d Back straight is a term in athletics or horse-racing. There are 2 straights and two bends. The final straight before the finish line is known as the home straight, while the other is known as the back straight.
