sorry, cj!

Evening All!
17a is causing me some mis-givings.
Clue: Apprehensively fidgety (slang) (5)

The fairly obvious answer is ANGST, which can be used as an adjective. But is it slang?

Am I missing something here?

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Chris.

Thank you TERRY AS WAS!
That's what I was afraid someone would say.
I have * N * S * , and am fairly certain that I'm right with these.
Here's hoping that someone can confirm or help.
Thanks again, Chris.

Now that sounds about right - Thanks JAZZGIRL!

I must admit I have never heard the expression before....... but perhaps I ought to get out more!
Thanks again; I will try to spend the £500 wisely.
Chris.

Pastille!
I am trying to work out if you are Gordon Brown in disguise or just a banker!
Such profligacy..... why I almost dropped my caviare-covered toasty into my champagne flute.

Not a bad idea though!
