Does petulant fit in with your other answers? I don't really like it much - to me, being petulant is more like being sulky or "pouting" but angry....? Not sure.

Wendy - suggest you google thesaurus.com - amongst other meanings petulant is bad tempered, cross etc

ANGRY ANT. I would have chosen indignant however word I'm looking for has 8 letters and ends with ant therefore suggestion of petulant fits the bill. It's a word Quiz and despite searching can't come up with anything else.
