Think I have the answers but need reasons:

"Casual suit, edges trimmed, contains bum".

I expect it is insouciant (casual). Why?

Has to be "game theory" (gory outside "a" or "the" as the article, but where does the setter come in?

"all fingers and thumbs alternatively making sense"

t-n-r (if the other two are right)

Can only be "toner" or "tuner"? Why?

first one is an anagram of contains + ui (removing s t from suit)

second one - the setter is "me"

last one is:
all fingers and thumbs = Ten
alternatively = or
Tenor
