Two days in a row I had - completed the puzzle and no queries. Not so today, damn thing took ages and with 2 I couldn't answer let alone understand:

"Bass in English sea briefly sink" = embed.
"Like Congress in America maybe? Extremely brutal all round" = bicameral. Not a word you see every day. I know what it means and that it starts and ends with the same letters as brutal. So is there a cryptic element to the 'icamera'?

Many thanks

"Bass in English sea briefly sink" = embed.

E(nglish) + MED(editerranean) with B(ass) inside.
