Just a thought. Why don't they publish the Sunday Times crossword on a Wednesday to give more people a chance or maybe the Spectator X-word in all daily papers.?

Hi toots,

I kind off agree with you...

I liked the spontinaity... OK you know what I mean! The spell checker "would not compute".

It is a great idea to involve others...BUT... it felt better when there was a tight deadline.

ta pastille, when we started this thread we said one day maximum.I think more than that gives all a chance to use others ideas and refine them or extra time to think about it.
I thought ixion was the winner for the last one and it was the first CLUELESS that I have not contributed to.
I am sounding like a twit sorry!

Maybe to get a wider "demographic" we could "advertise" it at the weekend.

"Tune in on a Tuesday..." Bladebla?

Must apologise for the abuse and over use of the Quotation marks!

just bringing this "up".

I still think we should keep "Clueless" to a tight deadline...as was originally suggested.

As I said before we could "advertise it at the weekends" but still keep to the original ethos.

Makes it much more fun...methinks
