I think it is Raja - Indian landowner
a + jar (slang for a drink) reversed

Sometimes you just don't "feel right" about a solution. I can't get my head around "old landlord abroad" as a definition. However, I can't think what else it could be. For no reason that I can think of, I want to put KAVA, or CAVA. Completely irrational. Every now and then a 3 or 4 letter word will do this to me.
