Good morning! Hopefully not as difficult as last week's. Happy solving!.

I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withold solutions till 5 pm to allow others to have a go.

1. Direct shock consequent to cocaine (5)
2. Curved grass (4)
3. Limit given in bar or pounds per square inch (4)
4. Arrangements to re-use a last site, withdrawing seats not occupied (2,7)
5. Deadlocks made from metal forged in gorges (10)

Hi again Jolan - my suggested solutions -

1) CHAIR - direct - C (Cocaine) HAIR (shock)
consequent to.

2) BENT - double definition curved & bent (a type of grass)

3) REIN - Limit given -(hidden)(IN) bar or pounds per squaRE INch

4) AT LEISURE - Not occupied - SEATS withdrawn from RE-USE A LAST SITE and anagram (arrangement)

5) STALEMATES - Deadlocks - anagram(forged) METAL in SATES (gorges)

As you said, the clues were slightly easier this week. One of the many things I enjoy about your clueing is the surface reading which is top class.
