Please, please can someone help me with the following? Last two to do.

9 down - Chinese style dish (4, 4)

C ? O ? S ? O ?

Thought it was Chow Mein but the S at the beginning of the second word comes from the last S of 17 across - clue is:

Displaying brilliance (4, 6, 7)

I,ve put" with flying colours".

Any help very gratefully received.

"with flying colours" is correct.
