The glitch was not so much a fault by the setter as a misunderstanding between setter and publisher resulting in an insoluble clash. Saga Magazine, as I understand it, intend to award two prizes for submissions - one for each possible variant, alongside an explanation and apology. To err is human, to apologise ........
