Is the wording of your clue with "SCORT"correct as never heard of it!

Like Simon, I thought possibly 'gaiters' but discounted it as the clue isn't in the plural.

Still it may be the right answer, I suppose ...

If ... 'Scort' is an abbreviation for 'escort', then perhaps the answer is CHAPERON (meaning both escort and hat/hood/headwear)?

"SCORT" is an acronym for the Standing Committee on Rail Transportation so could it be "trainers"?

Hi Joker - the answer to \'Skort\' is culottes - skort is an amalgam of skirt and shorts !!

Hmmm .. the clue read 'scort' not 'skort' :(

Coupled with the plural/singular crocodile, the clues look to be possibly lacking a bit in rigour.

But, Marie Curie is a very worthwhile cause to support :)

Also, the answer to "fleas" as "jumpers" is logical except you posted 6 letters which would make it "jumper".......
