Good morning friends. Happy solving!

I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withhold solutions till 5 pm BST (GMT+1) to allow others to have a go.

1. Nice! One’s out after ten years for corruption (9)
2. Suffers most awful cash crisis (8)
3. Forms of delivery prepared for conflict? (9)
4. A companion set member to writing straight, for example (5,4)
5. Flying Officer’s pounded once again at the front (10)

Hi Jolan- thanks for another five well set clues and my suggested solutions are-
1) DECADENCE - corruption - DECADE (ten years) + NICE less I (one's out)

2) STOMACHS - Suffers - anag (awful) MOST &
anag (crisis) CASH

3) UNDERARMS - forms of delivery (cricket),and 'prepared for conflict'

4) POKER HAND - A 'straight' for example in POKER ( companion set (fireplace) HAND (member to writing)

5) FOREGROUND -At the front - FO (flying officer) RE GROUND (pounded once again)

Sorry 4 meant to read Poker face. but I see Poker hand might fit better. In a Court of law I could argue face as in 'typeface'. But I guess I'd lose!

Hey I just looked. I think Forerunner has a case. (as in pounding the streets) Again it would lose but what the heck!
