Add the ten answers - 1001064
Add the digits in that answer - 12
Square that number which should suggest TOTAL - 144 . 144 = a gross. total = gross profit.
Take away the CONTAINER to suggest - Net (rather than gross profit - i don't really understand this bit)
WHAT YOU STARTED WITH IN RETRO!!!(and a hidden apostrophe!!!) - Ten was the 1st answer and Ten bacwards = Net (!)

30 and 40 - no(without)40 = 30

minus 30 = zero.

at least that was my reasoning.

Afraid I didn't solve it trevor.
Got as far as 144 fairly quickly,could see it meant gross(profit). Couldn't get any further. I suppose I should claim other committments,busy schedule,etc. but truth is I just ground to a halt. Well done.

must admit, i don't understand how 'Take away the CONTAINER' works.
Also ...isn't Net, american for Nett?(am i being racist?).

oh well, i just got lucky with 2 wrong answers that still gave 144.(use The Judgement of Solomon and cut the baby in half for AJT and terry)

I don't think I deserve the baby,jelly. I got the answers right,one by a sort of cheat when I realised 144 must be the total we were looking for. so the last answer must be...... but I didn't get to the end.
AJT can have the jelly baby, well most of it. If it's a boy jelly baby guess which piece I think trevor should have.
