10 cryptic clues—no letters – no length—THAT WOULD BE TOO EASY!!!
But ---THE DEFINITION IS “NUMBERS OR NUMERIC WORDS”
Add the ten answers
Add the digits in that answer
Square that number which should suggest TOTAL!!!!
Take away the CONTAINER to suggest
WHAT YOU STARTED WITH IN RETRO!!!(and a hidden apostrophe!!!)
(All 10 solutions plus the FINALE must be posted TOGETHER to qualify for the baby, jelly)

Hi AJT Really good to see that someone cares! No real time limit but First past the post sort of ends the chase.
Im wondering if "numbers" put people off but there are only a finite number of answers. Hint!!?? Two greater than 500 and eight less than 50. Go man, go.

Lovely puzzle. I feel that this thread deserves to be accorded the same action as is given to the RT thread.That is assistance/help to enquirers rather than posting answers straight away. I have solved C,F and H very quickly and then came to an immediate halt. Will try later.
Do you and or other people agree with my thoughts?

I have A,B,C and D - I think - bit tricky to know for sure without the number of letters - but have to go into catering mode today. It's intriguing.

I've only got 4 (and don't expect to get many more either) but the ones I've got I KNOW for certain are correct. This pleases me because there's nothing worse than just having a guess.

Mine are C, D, H and I.

I agree with not giving individual answers too. It's very off-putting and a puzzle as good as this should be savoured!
