Polly Dee,

Could you give us 2 or 3 other clues with your answers so that we can get an idea of how the setter's thinking?

Bernie,

The Jimmy Tarbuck answer I don't understand at all what's the reference to "wall" all about please?

I know the reference to the diamonds and her not hating a man enough to give her diamonds back, but not why they're her best friends. Also, Isn't her name Zsa Zsa?

Think I'm going through a thicko phase today! (Again)

When Jimmy first came to prominence, in the early ,60s, his back drop was a brick wall covered in graffiti. I think these are more general knowledge than cryptic.

Wendy,
My line of thinkig was, as she has been married 9 times (I think ? )she has a liking for diamonds. Either that or wedding cake! Also, Jimmy Tarbuck's wall was known as "Tarby's wall".
