Stuck on last two clues 46a and 43d
46a Greedy type tucking into plate----it may make him sick

Have P-T---E- Think it could be pathogen but not sure why

43d King's counsellor put interior of colony under protection of pope
Have ---O-I-S Think (lo) is in there but cant make out rest of clue
