I'm doing the Times jumbo cryptic 932. I have managed well in the top half but need some clues in the bottom half.
Here are some of the ones i have had difficulty with:
Animal streaked, having bitten finally through curb ; O?I?D?E
Bound to put an end to game ; H?P?C?T??
Any help would be much appreciated!

Face defeat, and appear browned off?(2,5)

Pen marking route on a trip on barge? ;
??G?L?G???R

Knows about negative answer that's upset Africans ; K?N?A??

Any further help would be greatly appreciated with explanations

last letter of 'bitten' inside 'Bridle'(curb)

Bound = hop
to put an end to = scotch
game = hopscotch
