Hi, Just registered with the new look site. Great!
I have just finished DM Mon, but can anyone explain 1d. Who stops man with ball? Perhaps Clark Kent, but not tonight we hear (7). I have put tackler. I can see the CK for Clark Kent, but what has it got to do with "tonight we hear" Thanks everyone.

"tackler" is an anagram of Clark Kent less KN - standing for knight and night, I imagin. Bit vague

I was thinking the same as AJT, but had NK, sonnds like ink. No, couldnt possibly be!
