I think this was 'dishearten' - put off. It has 'eaten' with the 'r' from the middle of 'afternoon'.

Mmm, that's a nuisance - I liked 'dishearten' but 'demarche' sounds correct!

Am still mulling!
Which letter from 'demarche' fits into 'd-s-e-e-e-' and where does it fit in? Maybe I'll have a brainwave - stranger things have happened.

The final e from demarche crosses with the fifth letter of dissevered fred.

Sally, if you wouldn't mind, could you tell me the word that gives the middle 'e' in
d-s-e-e-e-? (I still think I put 'dishearten' but don't know how I got there! We take our recycling away on a daily basis, so I no longer have the paper.
