So, where are all the "nighty night, kissy poos, take care" sick making people this evening? Is it too much to hope they have left the site or, been banned?

So even when you've got nothing to complain about, you're still here complaining...

The word "still" is superfluous in your sentence. But, yes, it is very pleasant this evening without the cringe making banalities that have been appearing with ever increasing frequency on this site. I do understand that they appeal to some folk though.

...and by the way, the word 'still' wasn't superfluous -- check your dictionary. In this context it means 'nevertheless', or 'all the same'.

So, look on the bright side -- at least you've learnt something. It's a start.
