Campo old girl

Welcome back, there have been some good postings lately, this one included. Wondered, at first, if your response was you or one of your alter-egos; I think it's you.

Glad!

Thanks, Wombat
Only other one giving me trouble is 22 down, Men endlessly in clubs...
Only word I can think of is reamer but don't know what it is.

Julia

A reamer is a tool for widening or shaping holes.

Yes Julia
Reamer is what I arrived at.
The longer solution being Creamer, losing the C for 17 across. Creamer indicating a substitutute for milk.
I'm not sure of the clubs bit though, perhaps some of the clever people can enlighten us.

I\'m glad you all arrived at reamer though I don\'t understand the "clubs" bit either.
The lunch sounds good, Wombat. Enjoy.

I think the "clubs" bit (= 'c') may stand for the clubs of spades/hearts/diamonds/clubs suits in cards.
