Have been puzzling over these two for ages, need help! 27a Thirty-nine books were sufficient for this Italian port o?r?n?o (am I being thick?) 46d Knowledgeable about Martini's third Italian anthem i?t?o?t
I think there must be a new compiler as have found the last three cryptics much harder than usual.

No problem.

As caroline says

Knowledgeable= into it
Third letter of martini is R

Hence Int (r) oit which is a religious anthem I think
