13ac Cover dale together, a long way(5)

Looks like Miles but why?

and

22ac Follows governer in larger than usual case(5)
O?E?S
I get th OS but am at loss for the rest

Miles Coverdale (or Myles) was a translator of the Bible, who published the first printed English translation in the mid-16th century.
