Took a call from friends on holiday last night who are completing a big quiz where all answers are either a fruit or a vegetable. The following clue has them (and us) completely stumped. It is: 72/07-07/27-27/77-61/70-47/53

We have no idea if the dashes are minuses or dashes.

Any ideas?

Have you got a couple of solved clues to post, to give us some idea of how this quiz works?

Sally, I have three other clues they couldn't solve but not any that they could:

make-up for a cleric
queens best
you can't rhyme with this

They've got me baffled too

Me again...

Just checked.the word orange has no "perfect rhyme" just a half-rhyme or a para-rhyme.

It is orange pastille, although I do know one word that rhymes with it, but it's the name of a Welsh mountain - The Blorenge - but strictly speaking that doesn't count, as there is no word in the English language that rhymes with it.
