I also agree. I am still stumped on 21d. Part of London associated with Wallis (6). I have ?a?n?s. And still uncertain about 3d Aim to keep short bird on the books (8) for which I have reluctantly put 'enrolled' because it fits my other letters and means 'on the books' and 20d. Where pierre is skirting railway junctio in serious trouble (7) for which I have got 'screwed' (Crewe being the railway junction). Hope I am not being a complete dunderhead and got them all wrong!

aim - end, to keep short bird - a roller is a bird, so short bird would be rolle, put them together and that's where enrolled comes from. Your others are correct. The part of London relates to the inventor of the bouncing bomb.
