Just revisited your thread re SPEECH etc trying to find inspiration for this blooming JUMBO (I"m tthee quarters through but very slow going. (Like a bad cold!!!)
I think 27dn is SPEECH
1. When "lord" visits school he would give an endless address (it would seem so to the kids)
2. We cannot be expected to know about some potty school in NY. Where would you find verification.

I have put Lollipop lady for 41 across
I go quickly = I pop, with boy = lad, ready= (money) =Lolly crosses each side of the 'i pop lad'.
And the whole thing is the definition.
For 8 down I have put 'For whom the bell tolls'
which I did nick off an earlier thread.
I am juggling with Speech / Spence for 27 down.
