That is really tough! Guess have become used to the Telegraph cryptics. Wonder if it could be Beefsteaks ( beef=to complain, s for special and teaks for the wood), yet, do not say this with any conviction. Damn difficult that xword of yours!! Good luck & ta v much for including moi.
