I,m stuck on a couple of clues. All answers are trees or shrubs.
1) Single golfer, perhaps (9)
2) Aesthetically pruned for contemplation ( 6-4)
3) Beauty never saw one until she was 16 yrs (7)
Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks

May have something to do with the sleeping BEAUTY who was 16 when she pricked her finger on a spinning wheel.
Briars also come into the book.
Probably a load of nonsense.

Brilliant. Of course Sleeping Beauty. From birth she was hidden from needles and spindles to prevent the curse but after 16 years she found a spindle and pricked her finger. Spindle being also a shrub, I love you guys
