Good morning friends. Happy solving today!

I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withhold solutions till 5 pm BST (GMT+1) to allow others to have a go.

1. Addressed trim on plane (10)
2. Base for dope (3-4)
3. Complete penal set-up is put on line (7)
4. Take in to complete dress (7)
5. Empty out the first inch (4)

Thanks for another set of great clues Jolan.

I'll kick things off with-

1) Spokeshave - Plane
SPOKE (addressed) SHAVE (trim)
2) Low-down - Double definition - Base/mean & 'Gen' (dope)
3) Plenary - Complete
anag (set-up) PENAL + RY (line)
4) Blank at present!

5) Idle - Empty
SIDLE (inch) less S (out the first of sidle)

I have to go to work now but I'll pop back on later.
The use of 'Complete' in two consecutive clues had me wondering.

PS. I've tried to vary the clue-type. 1. a charade; 2. a double; 3. part anag; 5 cryptic.
4 is of a different type of clue.

God,I love a pushy woman Pastille.(aren't they all!)
The only thing I can think of is ENCLOSE,but can't see the "EN" bit. CLOSE sounds like Clothes(Dress).
