I'm stuck on 3. 5d One licensed to preach but without own charge (7,8) I've got S?I???T MINISTER. 12ac Scottish name for tree pitit (8) I've got ?O?D?A?? and 13ac A steady fall of light rain (5) D?E?P.
Any thoughts, anybody? Cheers, Andy

Thank you sallyw, I can't find a reference to link woodlark with pitit (possibly a typo and should have been pipit).

Thanks to you both, I'm happy with STICKIT and WOODLARK. Any thoughts on the steady fall of light rain? Cheers, Andy

Sorry John but 'dreep' is a word for sliding down the face of a wall until hanging by your fingertips before letting go and dropping to the ground.
Light rain is 'SLEET'.
