Hello all,

I hope you are waiting with bated breath...

Our weekly fun competition.

The idea is to construct a cryptic clue to a given word. The winner of the previous week’s competition sets the word to be clued and judges the entries. A one-day time-frame is in place, (longer than this would be very difficult to cope with). The judge's decision is final (reasons given or not). It is customary for the judge to donate a virtual prize to the winner.

The Clueless 10 word is: TMESIS (6)

Clues to be submitted before 17:30 BST tomorrow (Wed 1st July)

Results soon after...maybe, or I might take a while, who knows?

Best of luck,and have fun!

Kissypoos,

p@

This competition is open to all, and all welcome.

Those of you who should enter and don't...I will be expecting a Doctors Line, or a note from your Mother.

I'm sorry pastille. Although this happens to be a good word for setters I am not sure how many puzzlers would get this without the answer or Chambers in front of them. I ask how many people on the street would know the word to start with, let alone get the solution. I have no qualms to admitting I had to look it up!
