what are the clues and number of letters in the answers?

3 down - (8 letters) - I have E-e-i-o-
7 down (7 letters) - I have --e---w

many thanks - mind you I may have something else wrong so don't be too sure of the letters I have!!

thank you all - i think I must have something wrong in my 9 across so have scrubbed that and will think again. have put in emoticon and think 7 down is 'somehow' as just realsied my 9 across should be ostracism
