Blimey, I've just come on and read a bit of the threads For Terry and don't know whether to bother asking for help in case I'm not intelligent enough, but if anyone feels like assisting an old lady I'm having trouble with 47a (11) Soldier in child army changed name. Do hope it's not TOO obvious I'll feel such a fool!

Don't worry: I ask all the time, whether they are obvious or not. They often are, once I've got the answer!

Do you have any letters?

charactonym has ch and army....could soldier be "act on"?
