Several people have commented to me the DM Clues are getting a bit slapdash...

Having said that.... unlike today the last 3 have been painfully simple...apparently... (me just web bloke... not solver)

To get back to the original poster's point, Aye, you're right - some of the recent clues have been beyond me. But the DM is still sufficiently middle of the road. I quite welcome the odd head scratcher - you often learn something, even if it's totally useless information.

i too love a challenge and enjoy almost finishing most days.. sometimes though i pick it up and iam struggling to get half a dozen clues.. feel such a plonker then..
