Your other one is laid/set, vestment/alb and the first letter in "out", backwards, giving oblates.

Having fished the paper from the recycling, the whole clue is
Additional data one's turned up with glee (9)

Chambers gives "sidelight" as accidental illumination (among other things). Is that what additional data may provide? Or am I Barking, too? Have only just started the cryptic Jumbos and am already hooked!And really appreciate the help on here.
