Good evening all!

It was suggested by a much respected contributor to this site that we try a "reverse situation" quiz. The object is to set the answer to a cryptic clue and then try to construct a clue to the word. The suggestion is that the word set is difficult to clue. One regular contributor ONLY will judge the efforts, this will be the previous week’s winner, who in turn will set the clue for the following week. A one-day timeframe is in place, (longer than this would be very difficult to cope with). The judge's decision is final (reasons given OR NOT).

Today’s word to be cryptically clued is…….
ILLUMINATE

Judgement is to close at 16.30 on Wed 13th. The winner will be announced at around about 17.00, together with the “prize” he/she will receive.

Have fun!!
Judge for a day, Siamcat
